Congratulations on 500! I blog for similar reasons and having 500 followers would knock my socks off. Heck, every new follower knocks my socks off.
My favorite of these is blogging. There's no character limit and I can tell a story with my pictures. I do facebook but we have a love/hate thing going. I don't tweet/twitter or understand it but I love the little birdie.
